What can be treated?
With the help of laser therapy we can treat unwanted hair growth provided that the hair is darkly pigmented. The purpose of the treatment is a permanent hair reduction. Skin therapy Juno is located in The Hague.
The treatment
For the first treatment you will receive an intake interview and photos will be made. These will be used to map the results of the treatments. Your skin is then cleansed and disinfected. During the treatment you wear glasses for protection. The treatment itself is not completely painless. The pulse from the laser device feels like a rubber band that taps your skin. You can experience a slight irritating feeling. As a result, your skin may feel slightly irritated after treatment. This irritation disappears after a few hours. In some cases your health insurer reimburses the treatment. For this we ask you for a referral letter from the doctor or specialist.
Preparations
The skin must not be tanning or tanned. For the best result, avoid direct sunlight and the sunbed four weeks before and four weeks after the treatment.

Stop waxing or epilation at least three weeks before treatment. The use of a razor blade, scissors or hair removal cream is possible.
Stop using essential oils at least two weeks before treatment.
Do not use makeup or cream on the day of treatment.
How many treatments?
The hairs that have been treated will fall out in a period of two weeks. You will see no results immediately after the treatments. Depending on the structure of the hair follicles, the amount of hair and your skin type, you need an average of 8-10 treatments for a hair reduction of up to 90%.
Aftercare
Immediately after the treatment, your skin may feel slightly irritated, which will disappear after a few hours.
No sunlight or tanning bed for four weeks after treatment.
